Race 9 —– # 7 CABO SPIRIT (5-1) In a race with not much speed in it, CABO could just possibly get away here with “Money Mike” Smith setting up the race that is loaded with closers. Just missed by a neck when going extra quick in a Grade 1. He’s going to be in front turning for home…we just have to get him to the wire in time.

RACE 10 —– # 6 PETITE ANGE (4-1) Figured it all out in the last drawing off to win by 6 1/2 lengths breaking her maiden. She makes the correct class move from mcl 20k to 10k claimers. Looks like trainer Ryan Hanson has found the answer for this filly. Comes in with 5 solid works on her tab, and she will be claimed out of this race. A lot to like in a week race.
