RACE 8 — # 10 WISHTHEYALLCOULDBE (7-2) just won the same race in last by 4 3/4 lengths and trainer Ellis is 40 % winners with first off the claim at Del Mar. Ron Ellis is a cagey trainer and looking for a quick return should he win and get claimed his owners would pick up $ 25 k on the win purse and 20 k for the claim. Not a bad investment for owning a horse for 30 days.

Race 11 — # 9 UPCHARGE (15-1) only missed by one length after being 10 lengths back most of the race after missing the break. To her credit, she put it into gear at the 1/4 pole and was the fastest in the stretch and on the gallop out. Now “KING” Phil takes her from 6 furlongs to 1 mile 1/16. How often do you get a L.IVE horse at 15-1 trained by the “KING”.
