RACE 9 — # 8 SCIPIO (12-1) is a Maiden in a Stakes race. I know I know, but he was 5-2 odds first time out. Broke DEAD last going 5 furlongs on the turf against a crawling pace and made up ground while wide going into the far turn and once he got clear in the stretch he galloped out under a hand ride to the clubhouse turn from Respoli who rides him back today. 3 GREAT works since raced. Baltas and Respoli are 26 % winners. Pretty obvious there were pointing at this race, because Respoli never got into him until near the wire and the gallop out. # 1 ARTISLAS / # 10 MISCHIEF RIVER / # 9 SABERTOOTH are likely exacta combos
